I’d ask $4500, take $3000.

Ask For 6 grand, try to get 5 or 5 and a half
![]() 06/20/2015 at 15:10 |

Agreed. 3k.

Make it a KitKat and you got a deal

That’s actually really nice.
I have a hard time selling anything that is not a piece of shit.
Anywhere from 4 to 7k depending on how fast you want to sell it.

Is that the digital arm wrestler package? Adds an instant $3,000 to the price.
![]() 06/20/2015 at 15:18 |

This sounds most resonable

I have some bad news for you, one of your doors is now a glass storage container.
Were you aware?

$4,300.
Make sure to include that it was never used as a livery car or taxi.

WUT?
![]() 06/20/2015 at 15:34 |
|
Seems a bit low. It’s a friend’s car.
![]() 06/20/2015 at 15:34 |
|
Kind of what I was thinking. Ask $5,500 and hope for north of $4,000.
![]() 06/20/2015 at 15:35 |

That’s about where I am. I think that if it were ever used that way, the mileage would be much higher and the general condition would be much worse.
Excellent point taken!
![]() 06/20/2015 at 15:36 |

Five-and-a-half would be nice. I am selling the car for a friend who needs the dough.

On your odometer pic, the car shows the warning that your is a jar...
![]() 06/20/2015 at 15:40 |
|
The door is not a jar, it’s a f#$king DOOR!
Thank you for pointing that out. The Oppos are being very helpful today (some of them...).
![]() 06/20/2015 at 15:40 |

$0!!!
![]() 06/20/2015 at 15:41 |
|
Can you drive me to the airport?
![]() 06/20/2015 at 15:43 |
|
I don’t know, your car seems to think you’re canning tomatoes and need to store them.
![]() 06/20/2015 at 15:46 |
|
Yes, for $6,000, and you can keep the car.
![]() 06/20/2015 at 16:10 |

5k.
105000miles/13years of age = 8k.
8k -the 9 letters in signature = -1k
-1k+ 7 letters in Town Car= 6k.
6k- the one missing point in the quality chart = 5k
Logic. Of course there is the whole Lincoln thing so:
Lincoln/2 = 3.5 letters
Start at 5k, but allow for about 3.5k of negotiations.

It's probably about right for the miles. They're neither rare nor sought after. Basic transportation value plus about 50% is probably all you'd see for it.
![]() 06/20/2015 at 16:47 |
|
You’re selling for a friend? That’s a cause for concern for most buyers on CL.
![]() 06/20/2015 at 16:48 |

My friend hopes for $4k. I’d like to see her get a little bit more than that, but I doubt it’ll fetch $5k. Funny how that goes; seems like a lot of car for the money, but then again, I wouldn’t want it.

Not something I’d put in the listing. The owner is a single mom and not comfortable interviewing with potential customers. It’s certainly something I would understand if I were looking at a used car. She’ll have to come around to sign the papers and whatever.
![]() 06/20/2015 at 16:53 |
|
I wouldn’t want it either.
![]() 06/20/2015 at 16:54 |

I love that this car sports a digital odometer that shows tenths of a mile. My understanding is that my Lincoln loses the tenths starting at 100k miles.
![]() 06/20/2015 at 16:57 |
|
Have you done this before
![]() 06/20/2015 at 19:56 |
|
So a door is also a jar? I’m confused...
![]() 06/20/2015 at 22:22 |
|
The door is not ajar, the door is a f@#$ing DOOR.
![]() 06/21/2015 at 00:20 |

This fender chrome cuts the value to $500 to me. Never liked Town Cars with that fender chrome...

Or he could be making pickles...

Quite alright. I just need to facilitate the sale for a non-native English speaking single mother friend of mine. I don’t care much for the car either.
